Leap Year – Enjoying Your Extra Day

It’s that time again.  It’s a Leap Year!

Once every 4 years we get an additional day.

Or once every four years a person born on this day gets to celebrate their birthday.

If the bald guy was born on a Leap day that would be some party. The dancing girls, fire breathing jugglers, and clowns would be just be the beginning of the show.

I digress.  I found it fascinating and low that the odds of being born on this day were 1 in 1500.

There are 4 million people in the world born on this day.

So I think we should celebrate and make tomorrow extra special.

As one of my mentor’s, Max de Jong, shared ” We are here To Learn. To Enjoy. To Share”

So let’s enjoy our day.  Maybe in get in touch with a new Facebook friend and have a real conversation either on the phone or in person.

That is what happened to me a few days ago.

You see I was in Atlanta learning about a Facebook app that I will be using for my clients.  And a recent addition to my community on Facebook who lives close to Atlanta wanted to connect.

Despite the seminar going long Jason drove 45 min to meet me at a local watering hole in downtown Atlanta.

After getting over the slight awkwardness at the beginning of our meeting.  The rest of the night went amazing.

We learned a lot about each other’s lives.

The struggles and triumphs were remarkably similar.

We even have a similar passion of giving and I believe we will be helping each other out with our new projects.

The night ended and I was grateful to connect in person with another human being.

So why don’t we celebrate tomorrow by reaching out to someone new and make this Leap Year memorable!

Thank You on Fat Tuesday

All I have to say is Thank you Universe.

I mean 3 months ago I was at my ropes end.

I Didn’t know how or when the money was going to show.

I didn’t believe I could be a leader.

I lost my faith.  And because of these thoughts my life around me was becoming unbearable.

Down right Brutal!

And I have heard this from a lot of you!

Who are in similar situations.  Worse situations.

Here’s what I did.  I said “Fuck IT”

I am suppose to be more then this.  I am more then this.

Now I have to admit I have the good fortune of having some great tools at my disposal.

And even though I didn’t know how to use them properly and what my purpose is in this life.

I just started.  And day by day. Little by little my thoughts changed and my life changed.

And now I am thankful.  Thankful for the crap I put myself through.

Thankful for the abundance and greatness around me.

And thankful for the new people who have come into my life.  That get me and my sense of humor(I am talking to you bald guy with the double chin. lol).  You have no idea what you have done for me .  And I will never ever forget that!

Here’s a little William Vaughn to serenade you out.  And don’t forget to play The Lawttery Of Attraction and you can be a winner like Ken from the USA.  Congrats Ken.

Love Valentine’s Day Quotes

Love Valentine’s Day Quotes

This time 17 years ago I was pulling out my hair.  Yes this bald used to have a full mop of hair.

You see I owned2 flower stores in my city and Valentine’s Day was by far the craziest time of year.

No sleep for days.

As I look back on it now it seems funny how conditioned we are as a society.

Feb 14th all guys must buy flowers for their significant other.  And most guys think they must buy Red roses.

Now this bald guy is a little different, if you hadn’t already noticed, and I encouraged everybody to try different combinations of flowers.

Spice it up!

You see Roses are one of the most labor intensive flowers to work with.  Cleaning the petals and removing the thorns takes a lot of time.

Not to mention they never lasted as long as most other flowers.

And Your significant other would definitely appreciate the gesture.

So try something different.

That is what I am doing with these quotes.  They are different and I thought I would pass them on.

Enjoy your Valentine’s Day.

I love you and thank you.

P.P.S.  We are off to Buffalo to share with people and help them Go Where The Eyes Are!

Budweiser’s Super Bowl Commercial | Joy For Ordinary Guys

I still get goosebumps watching the commercial.

Yeah I know Super Bowl commercials are suppose to be amazing .

I mean they pay over 3 million dollars for 30 seconds so it better be friggin great.

But this one was different.

This one brought joy to real people. Playing a pickup game in Port Credit!

For one night, guys that probably would never been cheered on in their regular life.

Had a chance to experience what it would be like to be screamed at, encouraged and cheered.

They could live the ultimate hockey fantasy. (Listen to what one player said at 1:50 of the commercial)

And in Canada that is nearly every boys dream!

What Budweiser did for those 20-30 guys was truly amazing.

But what it showed me is to bring cheers and encouragement and sometimes excited screams to people in everyday life.

And watch them glow!(Watch the ultimate joy in the player’s face who is sitting on the ice at the end of the commercial 2:00)

Imagine the joy in our world if we could bring cheers to everyday life!

Thanks! This Bud’s for you!
